Door frame and right angle sidelites

Just finished this unique door frame yesterday. It is a doorframe to suit french doors, on a hardwood sill. the door frame has sidelites as well as corner panels (90degrees) with casement sashes. Unglazed (it already weighs a tonne) and ready for pick up. It is these types of jobs that make the WINDOW MAN unique.

Just some photo’s of the work we carried out yesterday. Removal of an old rotting timber window with doors, and installation of a new frame.
New frame; WRC timber, with double glazed units. Each panel of glass weighs 68.7kg.
Square timber beading on inside and out of frame.
The sill was cemented underneath at the final stage.

removal of old aluminium window. installation of new commercial fixed lite window with 11.38 mm glass – glass weighed at 150kg. grey laminate glass.

Western Red Cedar Gable window with fixed timber louvre slats – slats notched into the frame not nailed over the top. work in progress. flywire to be added on back, and finished nearly on facia with extra timber beading. LOTS of manhours.
