Most of the pictures of work lately has been in timber. we do lots of aluminium as well, so here is a photo of a sliding door in bronze anodise with 007 diamond grille security screen. 4mm toughened glass. All assembled and tested within our jig to ensure the frame is square, and everything locks and operates perfectly. this particular door is 2095 x 1810 – fairly close to a standard sized door frame.

I thought i posted this before, but perhaps not. Last few weeks we completed this arched doorframe in cedar.

A couple who ordered and bought a door from us has sent us a photo now it is installed and has the door hardware on it. This door was based on a photo the client took, and then adjusted to suit the doorframe opening. The other notable thing about this door is all the beading is on the inside so the front of the door has no seen putty or nail points.
We recently came back to a job to do some finishing touches, here are some photos;
All clear/natural anodise commercial framing. The doorframe has 2 doors, one panel smaller than the other. With invisiguard security screens. The bifold window is using CENTOR hardware and is top hung to allow for a marble servery to be used. The doors, bifold and louvre blades are also glazed with LOW-E comfort plus glass to keep heat out. The place looks great.
Today im posting a few images of some of the weird and wonderful things we are asked to make. These are louvres, fixed plantation shutters, some unusual doors and a door made from solid Oak (a fairly expensive timber compared to cedar or meranti).

Those crime shows always have an interrogation room where the detectives can watch the interview with the criminal, without being seen.
That glass is called OBSERVA mirror, and works best with a light/dark ration of at least 5:1.
We made a little one for a client; remember it will work best when the inside room is very dark.

Powdercoat is IRONSTONE, and you can see it is sitting within our steel jig to ensure the door is square and works perfectly before being taken by our client.
