
Just got back from north Adelaide where we removed 2 fire damaged windows and replaced with new cedar ones.

Just got back from north Adelaide where we removed 2 fire damaged windows and replaced with new cedar ones.
Our monday install job was a removal of timber windows, a small wall cut and installing new window and sliding door onto deck.

These are 2 new windows installed this week.


Here we replaced a rotten sill and transom in an atrium.
New glass in the bottom panels, siliconed joined together.
New glass beading around. ready for the painter to come in and finish off.

Here is a burnt out window we remade.
cedar. box frame (so weights and brass pulleys with sash cord rope). clear glass. dissapearing screen (goes into the wall cavity of a double brick house).

Here we are making a timber window with 2 moving sashes in the middle. it will be glazed on site.

Just some photo’s of the work we carried out yesterday. Removal of an old rotting timber window with doors, and installation of a new frame.
New frame; WRC timber, with double glazed units. Each panel of glass weighs 68.7kg.

The sill was cemented underneath at the final stage.
