Well, I was a bit remiss to leave our first post of the year until february… time flies.
We have meranti back in stock after a few short months, cedar still reliably sourced.
some of the things we have been up to lately;
Adelaide Examiner has listed us in their tops of window installers of Adelaide. SDW beat us, but we supply them with their timber frames,windows,doors and sashes as well.
Old window had 3mm float. new window is 16mm double glazed panel. Painting by client after install.
On Wednesday we made a wall cut and removed an aluminium window. Added a meranti doorframe with sill and pair of rebated doors.
Client will render edges and add bricks under the sill when ready (has a pipe underneath with a tiny rustleak that needs to be fixed first).
New single hung cedar window. Re-used the clients leadlight , and obscure cathedral glass up top. Spiral balances and flyscreen
Putty glazed 10lite colonial bar casement sash.
We were sent to McLaren Vale for this job. Insurance. A flash flood had swept down the cellar and destroyed the existing doors. We made new ones, and new doorframe jambs. Installed using the existing arched doorframe head, and a few tweaks on the curves on the doors we had made at our factory.

A client wanted ventilation in their bathroom, so we removed their existing fixed pane window and installed a new awning window instead. Now they can have a hot shower and get rid of the steam.

This is a 4 panel cedar bifold. open OUT, 2 LEFT 2 RIGHT. Centor brand hardware. Sashes to fit 16mm double glazed panels. No sill – the sashes will sit above a stone tablestop.
