Im not in the office much lately – too many installs where im needed to give a hand. So here are just a few more photos of some of the things going on around now

Commercial Partition

Back from the Easter Break. This photo is the job we did last week at McClaren Vale.  Enclosing one side of a verandah with commercial frame and laminate glass. Originally it had roll down blinds but the poor kids were too cold from the wind. Had to install between the large steel poles that were existing. You can see the notch out on the flashings we had to custom make at the bottom of the poles.  On the side we added a smaller panel 1100mm high to stop wind as requested by the builder.

Clear Anodise frame with clear lamiante glass. to enclose a side of a verandah for a kindergarden.

Factory full of frames + more

Well i keep getting emails and cold calls saying i need to update my website.  yet it seems to be doing ok.

Today i thought id post a couple of photos of our factory floor, a sash i re-beaded this morning and a close up of a lift up window – you get to see the beautiful grain of cedar up close.  lucky you.

this sash with grey glass was originally putty glazed. client asked to remove the putty and rebead with custom bevelled beads. much easier to paint.

all the frames stacked up to give some workspace for more.

close up of a single hung lift up window. inside view (you see the sash lift handle) and double glazed. You can see the finish of the cedar timber is very beautiful.

Some timber windows installed, sashes remade, windows removed etc

Just a few photos of various bits n’ pieces that have occurred lately.

Replacing a rotten timber box frame window with its new cedar replacement.

New cedar window installed into a prepared opening. we used square beading on the outside to match windows around the house.

look at this mess! this is early on in a window install. a timber window has been removed, and a new aluminium window is prepared for install

Bifold and commercial frames glazed

Finished Product

I glazed these doors and windows yesterday (plus more not in view).

the bifold panels of glass weigh just over 30kilos each, so the doors stacked to one side is about 150kilos of weight hanging there. which illustrates why you need to install a bifold properly.

the glass is 4mm toughened clear, 16mm argon gap, 4mm toughened clear.
