This morning we set up 2 bifolds for installation. here is a photo of the work being carried out. I left the lads there to finish the glazing, so its not a finished photo.
This morning, we had 3 bifolds up and screwed in by 9:30am.
I’ve come back to the factory to relax and do this post, whilst the lads struggle on and do the finishing touches. Monday we glaze them.
We made 2 bifolds, and 2 doorframes with doubledoors (french doors) for this job at west lakes. the original windows were removed, and some required wall cuts too.
Client will render to the outside of our frames.
If you need the supply and installation of windows and doors, give us a call or email and we are more than happy to quote.
We were asked to assess a damaged Bifold that had its active panel ripped off in a windy storm.
The doors, hinges, perimeter jambs and head, and the seals were all damaged in the storm. only a new bifold would be appropriate, repair was out of the question.
Well we have come back (the 9th for George and I with the rest of the staff fully back on january 23rd 2017). I’ve been a little slack in uploading new images of what we have been doing so today here are a few random images of what has been going on the past few months.
A small selection of the variety of work we have carried out recently. Ill try make a better effort and post more frequently.

Spent a few days installing office partitions, doors, glass and locks on various floors of a franklin st building in adelaide’s CBD. we re-used some glass panels, and some doors, with the rest being manufactured in our factory and then installed on site.
a WIP photo.
Very hard work with most items requiring transport up staircases.or lifts.
While roaming the factory i took a quick photo of these 2 doors having their recessed panels inserted and beaded. work in progress.
a few doors are getting finished off all at once.some are being putty glazed, most have timber beading.
Its nearing the end of the year and we have been flat out trying to get all our work done before the xmas break. Its so busy ive had no time to upload new photos recently, but here is a job we were on yesterday.
This job now needs to be glazed, and we have windows on the second floor as well.
This is what windows and doors look like after being cut, docked, machined from the raw extrusions. next stop the powdercoater to paint them – in this case a colour called NOTRE DAME will be used. then we get the painted extrusions back, check they are ok and then assemble them ready for the next step after that – glazing.
