The nice thing about working alone on a sunday, is you can get a lot of things done.
With no machinery and ducting and compressors going on, its nice and quiet. But the factory will be full of noise tomorrow. Though with the expected 40degree heat, we may end up closing a bit earlier tomorrow.
In a blink of a blink of an eye, the year has passed. Friday 20th will be the last day for the year, while we all take a well deserved break. For all our regular and old clients – you know who you are – BBQ at the factory as usual around midday.

these 3 windows were replacements from a fire. (plus more in the next door home)
All cedar, some fixed/dummy sashes and some are casement sashes with teardrop handles. no screens. Another insurance job
A bit over a year later, we have returned to a lovely home in goolwa, adding more double doors, single doors, and internal doors we had made at the factory (10 doors total). My camera seemed to be quite blurry, so I don’t have enough photos to do it all justice.
These doors are off to Goolwa, where the client will paint them first and then we will head over and install.
Original frame had extensive woodrot. My phone was blurry from all the sawdust so many of the photos are just not good enough to bother posting.
corner fixed/doorframe was also replaced and the old door and security door rehung. all grey glass and western red cedar
We make a lot of flyscreens – for both the new windows we are making, and for existing windows that need them. (We also make them in aluminium, and security screens).
For some reason, there must be a lack of joineries interstate – we are shipping more and more screens to places like NSW and VIC recently.
