A few random photos of things going on.
Yesterday i had to empty the sawdust bins, which had completely overflowed.
If you have never cleaned up massive piles of sawdust, I suggest you try it just so you know you should avoid it.

Cleaning out the sawdust extractor after one of our bins overfilled. aaaaah sawdust, it gets everywhere.

Making new timber sashes based on the old ones given to us. A common issue for timber sashes is they rot in the rain over the years, you cant repair them – you need new ones!

A nice job today, removing old glass, colonial bars, transoms, mullions, sashes and so on. replaced with 10.38 laminate glass for a stronger and safer result, and with a much fuller view to the river (west lakes).

This morning, we had 3 bifolds up and screwed in by 9:30am.
I’ve come back to the factory to relax and do this post, whilst the lads struggle on and do the finishing touches. Monday we glaze them.

Getting the first bifold moved into position

3 bifolds secured in (more screws later) by 930am. Glazing will occur monday with 6.38 clear laminate glass.
We made 2 bifolds, and 2 doorframes with doubledoors (french doors) for this job at west lakes. the original windows were removed, and some required wall cuts too.
Client will render to the outside of our frames.

Yesterday i took this photo of a jobsite we are working on. The Client is not yet ready for the glass panels to be installed. Clear anodise commercial framing. Awnings on top of the windows.

Doors. We cut out panels for glass and air registers.

Spent a few days installing office partitions, doors, glass and locks on various floors of a franklin st building in adelaide’s CBD. we re-used some glass panels, and some doors, with the rest being manufactured in our factory and then installed on site.
