the glass is toughened cathedral.
Today I have done a bit of everything; helping the lads out on all these odd jobs for the start of the year. Always with a camera in hand, here is some of the things we are doing today.

Here we are making a large arched window with colonial bars, top down photo showing us setting up the template etc.

Glazing some sashes with colonial bars…. all in cedar.

Here is mill (raw) alumimium commercial frame we have engineered to a curve. we will then make a window from it.
Just made 2 of these windows, ready to be picked up by our client.

white aluminium awning window with clear glass, flyscreens and lockable winders.
Here we are installing some commercial fixed frames as well as a doorframe +pair of pivot doors.
All in paperbark, with subsills and laminate glass.

shop front. commercial aluminium fixed lites in paperbark powdercoat

We make so many of these or variations of, that i rarely take photos of them.
This is a residential aluminium window, powdercoat black with white translucent glass.
it has a horizontal sliding section up top and a fixed lite below.

Custom made, western red cedar wave door. 1100 wide, 2400 high.

Its nearing the end of the year and we have been flat out trying to get all our work done before the xmas break. Its so busy ive had no time to upload new photos recently, but here is a job we were on yesterday.

Clear Anodise series 400 commercial framing with hinged door.
This job now needs to be glazed, and we have windows on the second floor as well.
This job was very technical and potentially dangerous.
2nd floor timber window which was floor to ceiling height was rotten.

Original Window. Rotten frames with 4mm float glass which is incredibly unsafe for the location and size of the glass panels. Not sure when it was made, but very illegal by today’s standards.

New clear anodise commercial frame with 6.38 clear comfort plus glass. Arched commercial frame with sliding door. The timber facade was for the owner to replace with a new metal flashing.

Inside view of the new window / door combination. The balcony is now usable whereas before as just a window it was merely decoration. Glazed with clear comfort plus Low-E glass.

We had to erect scaffolding on the outside balcony to remove the existing window. We found the glass to be 4mm float- incredibly dangerous for something that height, and size. Taking the original glass out required delicate care to safely remove.
